Seriously, I like the Pacers chances and that's about it. On the other side of the country, it anyone's guess. The competition on the west side isn't clear just yet.

I missed their game and I've heard they were doing so well at the end of the season so you're probably right. I Still like Brooklyn's chances too, lol At least some ex-Celtics are still in the playoffs.

all of the pacers problems in game one came from the unique matchup they have to deal with in atlanta. not saying that they are on top of their game but i think having a strech 5 almost nullifies a worn down hibbert which is a serious part of what makes the pacers dangerous. combine that with george not playing well against the team historically and that team is going to struggle to get any sort of rhythm.

also, the refs suck more than usual.

Don't know if you guys are following the western conference but the refs did blow a couple calls on important plays in the last minutes of the Clippers/warriors and rockets/Blazers game.

i would be okay if it was just a couple huge missed calls. everyone makes mistakes but to have a.i. and griffin both be in foul trouble for things that just look like playoff basketball to me combined with those significant bad calls is too much.

in the regular season im fine with the refs as long as they are calling things the same both ways but this is the playoffs and us fans deserve to see an intense game without the officiating taking all the rhythm out of the game.

Let's go Blazers! Refs were better tonight. Rockets fans cant complain about the refs now (even though they still chant "refs you suck"). Cant stop Lemarcus Aldridge!

I'm glad I'm not the only one realizing how bad the refs are.. I wonder how much they are getting paid by other teams to make bogus calls.

In the end it's all about money and entertainment. Big market teams will always be favored in this league. I blame more towards the players for flopping and becoming soft, making it hard for refs to distinguish actual foul calls. Basketball sure was not what is used to be, I've watched the sport for over 25 years.

I agree with the flopping. I swear every game that I watch always involve with someone trying to flop.
