Nope, it's for returning my car to stock for the dealer, day. LOL That and general car bullshitting.
Give him an A for effort? I mean the idea was sound...had you been an Audi dealer... |

The Xpel film for the FULL hood, headlights, fenders, and mirrors costs roughtly $1400. Tack on to that the charge for them rolling the edges (rather than stopping at the edge of the hood they roll the materials around the edge which serves to hide its presence) and you're talking another $50-$100. With my tints and the CF wrap I had them do I spent $1945. Now I had a quote from another place to do the same job essentially but with 3M wrap instead of xpel which is still good stuff and that is a few hundred less. It's significantly less expensive to go with the more standard package which doesn't cover the full hood and fenders but does cover the most chip prone spots. Really, I cannot recommend enough spending the cash to do this immediately upon getting the car. The paint looks great but it chips easily. I'm upset with myself for not doing this when it was new. I'll probably be the only one who really ever notices them now but I've got a handful of chips that are now permanently sealed beneath Xpel. The place has a real serious focus on customer service. Their sales rep, Christian, really went out of his way to explain the process and they allowed me to BS with them while they finished the tints. I was really impressed by the way they handled the back window. That is NOT an easy window to tint.

I'll post pictures once I pickup my fender inserts today. They had to clean up the CF wrap a little.

Whoa that's a lot.... I mean 1400 for all of that I guess isn't too bad but when you add on everything else it's too much for me :O
Has anyone else notice chips so far on their car? |

Again, if you do their standard 'highway package' which most shops seems to offer it covers the bumper and partial hood. Usually well under $1k for that. For reference, the cost of the pre-kit kits that Xpel sells are ~$900 for the full hood, bumper, and fender and ~$300 for the partial hood, fender, and bumper.

The best things really are free.
As much as I don't care for freezing rain, I do appreciate a nice free car wash.

I really want to get my windows tinted but all the problems with the rear windows worries me Also for $180 or so I could do a lot of other stuff to the car that I want to...such a tough decision. Especially on a black car.

I had a random thought earlier today and I wanted to put it here for laughs, but I've been busy with work and this is the first chance I've had. I just realized though, I've forgotten it.
