The satisfying feeling of a perfect underside of front lip. Does anyone know if the sti lip is available yet?

I was told Subaru is still trying to find a manufacturer for that lip. May take 3-4 months is what I was told. I will have an incomplete lip kit when I take delivery of my car Tuesday lol, everything's on but the front lip (which is the most important piece to me).

Considering the lip is available in inventory in Japan already, I question the whole Subaru needs to find a supplier for it

Yeah, I don't know. I just want that lip when I pickup my car Tuesday. None of the dealers I've called show a code for that lip. So a parts manager had to call the regional parts director and see what the deal was. And that's the only info I've been given. At this point I don't care how it's sourced, I just want my lip now rather than later. It defeats the purpose to prevent scraping if I have to wait a month or whenever it's finally available.

It leaked the other day telling us we'd have it. Just return the Garmin :p. Google maps is better than a Garmin anyway.

Now i'm curious if this is just a software upgrade or if they added hardware as well. If so part of me might go back to my stock head unit. Not that my Ca-Fi Dashlinq is bad by anymeans. But being able to use the built in car microphone and the Aux inputs again would be nice.

I'd put the 86 head unit in if I they do. That's what I want.

They announced it earlier this year:

http://www.magellangps.com/Newsroom/...gation-Partner

It's based on their SmartGPS navigation platform which you can check out here:

It seems like it could be alright but some reviews say it is slow and buggy. I'd still like to have Android Auto with Waze and Google Maps but at least it's something.

So yeah, it will be available later as a download through Subaru StarLink.

I've heard the 2017 wrx's HU supports Android Auto/Carplay....anyone know if it would be a direct swap into a 2017 brz?
