Yeah, definitely adding front fogs, but I've been hearing that they're going to be available as an accessory here soon. So much cheaper than ordering them from Japan/Europe.

Yeah I guess the point he was trying to make was he'd rather have a Subaru badge than a Scion badge.

I was going to get a BRZ, but the front of the 86 and quick availability with no markups won me over.

OMG!!! I wish I had the chance at that price. I got my shares in 2010 when it was like 258. I more than doubled my investment.

I hated the tan interior of my S2000, so I swapped it for black :P

Always liked these cars. Too bad they stopped making them, they had a lot of potential.

Honestly, build the car the way you want it. Use the parts that you want.

I am a big fan of building a factory-looking car that isn't. I'll use parts from any market in the world and from any year to get what I want. If I like the tail lights from Pakistan and the emblems from China with the steering wheel from Mexico, that's what I'll have. Not every country has everything that every person wants.

In my opinion, you don't need to do an exact Euro conversion to do it right, just get what you want. All that said, it should all be done right. If you are going to claim to have a JDM-conversion, you best be having Japanese-language stickers in the gas lid door, under the hood, etc. On the same token, if you are going to piece together parts from many markets into one car, at least do it completely. Running Toyota front and rear emblems with a Scion steering wheel emblem looks/feels terrible.

Nice DIY write up, man. I like it with all the pictures and stuff.

Although this is not the kind of mods I will be doing (whenever the hell my brz finally arrives), I'm more interested in adding that stitched knee pad. Please do a similar write up of that when you are doing yours. Thanks.

Keep up the good work!
