It comes with one

no apology necessary, it's me have to thank you all and the community for great help!!!

i follow your instruction to connect the stand alone blue wire which label "AMP" from the Dashling harness to the stock connector pin 9 brown wire, and the sounds it's nite and day different!!! but since i don't want to clip the stock wire and for some weird reason, pin 9 on Dashling harness is open, so i plan to buy one of those metra connector and remove the pin there to complete the truly plug and play setup.

one more question, is Torque pre-loaded on your system? or i have to buy it? cos i couldn't find it anywhere in mind...

I actually pulled the pin from the steering wheel control wire that i clipped and moved it to the correct pin for the amp - then soldered the wire for the amp to power up. Cost nothing

Torque didn't come pre-loaded with the pro version - so I bought the pro version and the widgets. You could always use the free version tho

Glad its working for you now!

Can you post a photo of your harness so we can see what you did for wiring in the amp power?
itll be a few days before I can pull the stereo to do that. But its pretty simple. I just pulled the pin used for the steering wheel control wire and moved it in the plug to the correct pin for the amp to power up - and soldered the wire for the amp control to it.

Any pictures of the backside?

The specs are so minimized on their site. I'm sure they'd sell more if they were a little more thorough.
There are photos of the back in this thread along with the rest of the information you're looking for. Take a look at the other pages.

Looks like Ca-Fi sent out a customer wide email tonight for people who bought the initial batch of the Dashlinq4 regarding the ipod issue you're experiencing!

Hi,

If you find the IPOD doesn't work with the Dashlinq4 unit, please help to check the IPOD wiring harness as the attachment. One batch of the harness was miswired.

Any problem, please let us know.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
Will Zhang

Okay, LAST two questions:

1. If I've got a backup camera wired into the OEM harness, will I need to change anything? Or is it still just plug and play?

2. Did you need any sort of adapters to get the USB/Aux-in/etc to work? I already have all the necessary adapters because I was planning on going with a Pioneer unit, just wasn't sure if this was the same.

I think I had one more but I forgot

Yeah, I have a Rydeen duo hooked up to my BRZ OEM HU using the harness I got here: http://ae64.com/Rear-camera-16-pin.htm

Same setup with this HU?
