This is my thought as well. If you haver a CEL light and the OFT doesn't read any codes, the CEL is likely caused by something non-ECU related. If you have a 6AT, it's likely the TCU that is triggering a code for some reason.

I have a manual, any way of clearing or reading the code?

The next step would be the take it in to the dealership for the CEL. They should take care of it pretty quickly given that your car is most certainly still under warranty

Still under 10k lol

Should I flash back to the stock? I will almost certainly throw a code for my catless header before I get there.

Is it common to get knock correction of about 1.7 degrees while on the highway cruising at 3 - 4 k? Most of the corrections pull ~.1 degrees but occasionally I will see .5 - 1.7 deg

hmm found this just now

Q: When should I be concerned about detonation/knock? What are some things to try or items to
check?
A: This is probably the most difficult question to answer but in general, we consider corrections of ~-2.5
degrees to be “normal” and not of major concern. If DAM is persistently below 1 or 16 and/or corrections 4 | P a g e

greater than -2.5 degrees are repeatedly observed to the “Feedback Knock Correction” or “Fine Knock
Learning” monitors, this is good reason for further inspection.

-2.5!?! I dislike anything over -1.

I found that reading from COBB tuning for a WRX. Not sure if the parameters are different with that car

You need to open the map in RomRaider or Tuner Pro and mofify the FFS Delta Table. It is 0 by default which means disabled. To activate it, you set the net to the difference between fuel cut and desired FFS RPM. This means if you have a Rev Limit of 7600RPM and you want FFS to be 4600RPM, you need to set the table to 3000.

@shiv@vishnu It's understood that you have a lot on your plate right now, what with the upcoming nuptials and trying to wrap up projects for business so you can have a real honeymoon. Having said that, I'm curious what you figure the chances are of the next set of OTS maps being done before your time off? Just curious, not trying to add pressure to your already busy schedule. If they are on the list for when you get back, that's fine, just wondering.

There is 0% that the new map release will be available prior to my nuptials this Monday. Wifey is tolerant but not that tolerant And seeing that the v1.60 isn't a "fix" to anything that is currently awry, I'd rather hold off and release it when it has plenty of test miles under its belt.

Wedding 1.0 is a hopefully final and one-time upgrade, so better put all your efforts into this one!
I think everybody will understand if you take a few days off for this.

I was hoping for "they're almost done, should be posted tomorrow" or something like that.
Oh well, best wishes that the day is everything she's dreaming of.
As a buddy of mine pointed out years ago, "it's her day: you're only there because she'd look foolish standing up there with just her girlfriends. The sooner you accept that, the better off you'll be."
