FYI to everyone in the U.S. who thinks just because your state doesn't have emissions testing, it's legal to remove your cats, you're wrong. Catalytic converters are regulated by federal law. Even installing high flow cats when your factory cats are still functioning is illegal. Just because you haven't been caught, doesn't mean you aren't breaking the law.

This reminds me of 50-60 years ago when many states ignored the federal laws because the people had the illusion they were special and those laws didn't apply to them.
Seems like those attitudes are still alive and well, unfortunately.
