I ordered a car because no dealers had any cars on the lots. 3 months into my wait a car I liked popped up with the PP and for $400-$500 more than the price I was going to pay so I snatched it up.

The car I ordered took 24 weeks to arrive at the dealer

This is my first time I'd be buying a car on my own so forgive me for these nooby questions. My first two cars were handed down to me for free.

Sales of the BRZ and GT86 have been rejuvenated presumably by the carefully thought out upgrades implemented by the factory.

The 2017 is a very, very good version of this car as an off the showroom floor sportscar ready for anything.

You have 17 sales numbers? How many more units than the 16?

I'm the one who started this thread. My car just came in. And I'm out of town, of course. Getting it Monday.

In the end it was just a few days shy of 13 weeks.

Jeez. Sorry it took so long. I'm sure you'll enjoy it (I also have a '17 PP).

When did you order? I ordered mine last week. Dealer didn't give me anything definitive but he said probably 3 months or so.

Order was put in earlier this week. Ordered a 2017 and they told me 1-2 months. Guess that's not going to happen if they told you 3 months lol.

Well, he didn't give me anything definitive. He said probably 3 months but I have no idea what he was basing that off of or what. Hopefully my dealer is wrong.

'17. At first he said I would get an '18 but I guess those aren't quite ready yet.

Also, how long after the order can one expect a VIN #?

2017 BRZ wait time

Been lurking for a while (first post here). I'm picking up my 2017 with PP tomorrow. I ordered back in April 13th. Australia here.

Edit: Oh, and I got my VIN# the day I ordered. They had a car set aside for me in Japan.

Do you have a VON (order #)?
How long can be extremely variable so keep on the dealer.

If they haven't already started they will be changing over to the 18s soon so it is odd that you have to wait that long for a 17. I bought my 14 FRS in July and got a bargain since the 15s were already on the lot. The 17s came out later though so maybe they pushed the 18s back a bit.
