I'm pretty sure you do want one if you have the funds. It truly wakes up the motor.

id highly recommend a tune, but i wont try to convince you of it. is that spacer the 90 degree one? (i think its 90). Maybe try a spark plug antifouler or a combination of the two.

No, it's straight and about a 1.5" in length.

Where this sensor goes, the header itself has a long bung for the sensor, is this causing maybe double the spacer affect? Look near the over-pipe flange.

It took a few weeks before my CEL came on. I tried a spacer which ended up giving me a different code in place of P0420. OFT stage 2 tune took care of it.

They used to be sold by semotors.com but I noticed they've been off the site for a while. Send them an email

Thats where i got mine from as well...its wierd because i used to be able to just google it and it would link me there. Now when you try navigate manually on their site --- its no longer listed. Which brings to question --- did they remove it because they no longer sell... or are they trying to wash their hands from "lifetime warranty" issues from original owners....hmmmm...?

I have a question that maybe you all could touch on. I ordered a new Tsudo UEL Header for the 86, and it is identical to the one online and all these pictures. However, it only has 1 o2 sensor port, not 2. Which is really confusing because all these pictures have 2 (one right by the overpipe and one towards the engine). Any ideas? It runs great but I had to leave my black O2 sensor unplugged, thus immediate CEL. Would tuning remove this code?

You can tune it to remove it. However, what you got is basically the problem with cheaper products... some miss certain things in QC.

That is just poor manufacturing.

Ok great thanks. Yeah I went fairly cheap on the full exhaust ($780) so I wasn't expecting top of the line stuff. Funny how they could just forget about the 2nd bung for the sensors but owell. Since its virtually the same CEL as one would get regardless I don't mind. For anyone else wanting to order this header, I ordered it from Speed Element.
