I like the look of those wheels man. Next year I'll be buying new ones. Maybe gold.

This is such an awesome colour.

Almost makes me think that i should get a WRB BRZ instead of an Ashphalt FRS

This is the only reason I went with Subaru. It's like an exotic paint job straight from the factory. If the FR-S came in WRB I'd be driving one... lack of HIDs and push button start etc. would not be deal breakers plus I prefer a radio with physical buttons rather than touch screen.

nice! Thanks for the info! That's the same size wheel I am going with the RPF's also. How flush does it sit with that offset and tire width? I am debating on whether or not to go 235 or 245 all around. Could you possibly take a pic to show if the tires stick out past the fender or not (more importantly the front tires)? Also, is you car lowered at all? Im impressed with how well that wheel setup looks on the car, maybe becasue this is the 1st BRZ I've seen with RPF's, I couldn't picture it untill now.

I don't have a picture, but the front wheels are a little tucked in at the top, and stick a tiny bit out at the bottom. With camber bolts, they would tuck in even further. There is even more room in the rear.

Car is lowered on Eibach Pro springs.

Thanks again. Sounds like how my Z looked after I put wheels and tires on it. Hmm, I may just run 235's all the way around. I don't mind a little bit of tire to stick out on the bottom (my Z's rear stuck out a little on the bottom), but I may be safer with 235s. I guess I can always go wider to 245s later if I feel the need.

I think 235's would look a little small - 245 is the way to go IMO.

And as per:
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

245/40/17 is only 0.4% off of the OEM ratio...that's really, really good, best I've seen in tire combo yet.

Aside from price is there any reason you picked the Hankook vs. the Star Specs?

Any rubbing with the 245s? Can we get a low rear shot to see the tires?

No rubbing. I picked those tires because they were sitting in mu garage for free. For a daily driver, I would recommend the Dunlop as it is better in the wet.

I'll try and get more pictures tonight.
