Last week I had a spider building a web under the spoiler, and I quite often find webs in the car. But I park sort of next to this unkempt bush at my apartment that is always full of webs, so maybe that's why.

I've only ever found one (single strand) web in my car. You should probably vacuum every inch of your interior since you often find webs in yours

Just for future preference or in case, which subaru dealer can you guys recommend for warranty work? I remember i saw blaine posting and asked in one thread but he never got an answer. I heard about Santa Rosa but is there any other dealer?

Yup, a black widow spider.

I've noticed a big increase in the black widow population at my house this year. The rains?

When I changed my oil on Saturday, the old oil had a distinct smell of fuel/gasoline when it was draining out.

Did probably an 85%-ish job on it and missed a couple small spots, but otherwise everything looks super clean. Even gave the wheels a fairly thorough wash for the first time since buying the car. Cleared off most of the heavy brembo brake dust! lol.

What did you use to wash and wax if you don't mind me asking? Did you clay it too??

I just followed you on IG

Could be a mixture of that and the heat since BW like damp areas.

I've been using Meguiar's Gold Wash for soap and for the wax I've been using a bottle of Chemical Guys' Butter Wax.

I didn't do a full clay this time unfortunately, but usually I also try to clay most problem spots if I can along with Meguiar's Quik Detail spray.

Try some Meguiar's shine as you dry quik wax after your wash. Knock two birds with one stone. Plus it adds that much more to CG's Butter Wax.

Claying the car just makes it that much smoother to touch especially at stop lights with the window down
