lol... Surely you don't mean actual shared parts right?

Pretty sure he meant the design idea. But honestly, there are so many cars with the same set up (white background, red needle) that came before the LFA

+1

I mentioned in an earlier post about how low the guy is sitting. I'm also 6'2 so having decent head room and a steering colum that won't hit our knees would be good.

Judging by his left sleeve cuff to his wrist and his left knee to his shoe, he doesn't seem that tall. I'm going to take a wild guess and say he's probably 5'8-5'10.
That's some impressive deductive skills, LOL! Doesn't seem like he is very tall, which might cause a problem for me! Guess will have to hope for the best when it hits the lots and see if i fit, LOL!

sure the white face and red needle is classic, but the bezel with the lights in it at each 1000 rpm? that's quite unique imo and obviously the design is taken from the LF-A. from the front fascia, to the red modellista steering wheel, to the headlights, etc. this car is very much inspired by the LF-A.

My balls aren't feeling so blue anymore. A picture a day keeps the blue away! Thank you for the pic.

I think the interior has a upscale look to it which may be a good and bad thing. The good thing is it looks like a premium sports car interior like a 370Z or even a Audi TT interior. The bad thing is that it might come at a cost that people was trying to avoid paying. This car will not be in the low 20's and I have good reasons to assume it now.

All of the auto sites might be right about the 25k-28k price tag. Boxer engines aren't cheap especially with D4S and Yamaha work. The interior isn't cheap at all. The hood is aluminum and the suspension might be a pricey suspension. I can't find a cheap part of this car like I can easily do with a Scion TC.

i believe 23,000 -24,000$ is the perfect price point for the people who are truly looking for this type of car.

if toyota/subaru wants to sell this at volume like the TC or impreza, they will have to stick with $21,000 or lower.

Wasn't there an article that said the BRZ was supposedly cheaper than an impreza or something?

I agree but this car is more sophisticated than a civic Si which makes me feel it's going to be a couple grand more than the Si. The technology in the engine and the refinement of the interior blows the Si out of the water. Also the Si is based from a regular civic that sells in large quantities.

I for one have no problem paying a little more for more quality. Most people that says they can't afford to pay more ends up spending a lot of money on upgrades anyway. Why not pay a little bit more upfront and get a quality built car?

I'm sorry for those who want all black cluster, but that real image of the White Tach makes me HOPE it stays white. It looks sick to me.

I agree, one of the first things that popped out in that cabin was that tach, it looks like a nice piece.
Just going by what I can see everything looks pretty good, the real test of interiors is when you are actually sitting in the car though.

I agree the gauges in the FR-S/BRZ look sick! I can't wait to sit in this car.

$28K base is too much for this car...Also scions they come fully loaded. All you can add is cosmetic options or acessories ...at least it is like that in the Scion tC. Its automatic or stick. A fully loaded 2012 6 speed manual tC runs $19700 with floormats and Night Vision rear view mirror. Also the tC comes with 18inch rims...the FRS will come the same..

$24k base is fair.
