I have people humping their seats up and down with their windows rolled halfway down waving their hands up with a thumbs up a couple of times. In my area I dont get greeted by the STI and EVOs at all, we just drive our own separate paths I guess.

I also had a lady at a gas station asking me what the car was and I think the only other thing she noticed was my rear Cusco tow hook and she asked what it's purpose was haha. I find it funny that people ask more about the Tow hooks more than what the car is.

The thing that annoys me is when people compliment the car, then talk about it like they know all about it, yet they are spewing bullshit. Like I got out the other day at the grocery and one guy goes, "Nissan 370Z, right?" And so I said no it's a Scion FR-S in a nice voice. He then goes "oh yeah, I haven't seen one of those around for a long time." It's just annoying to me for some reason. And then I had a guy at a gas station acting like he knew everything about Supras and telling me why they stopped making them so they could make this car. I love the compliments from people, but it's annoying as shit when they talk like they know what they are saying.

If those people say it has a V6 and it's really powerful, I just agree and drive away.

I had a dude with a BEAUTIFUL RB swap 240SX Tell me that I should've bought the BRZ because it's turbo charged. I just agreed and said "Well, the Scion was cheaper."

The turbo in the BRZ is so smooth and whisper quiet you can't even tell it's there. Plus, the all wheel drive really pulls it through corners.

My team had planned on watching the new Star Trak at movies and also wanted to go and to join us. I he had heard I had a new sport car and wanted to see after the movie. After the movie we walk outside to the parking lot and his face has this big smile. He ask how much. I say, "guest". Right away he says $40,000 Now that put a smile on my face. I told him it $25,000 He said, "Sh_t, nice".

Lots of neck breaker trying to see the car. Lots of what kind if car is it. I always SMILE !!!!!!!!!

Lots of double takes and thumbs up. The other day I saw a black BRZ a few cars behind me so I pulled over a lane so he could pull up alongside and he had a big grin on his face and we gave each other a thumbs up. Good times

Kinda hard to explain to non-gearhead/ non car people that its a handling car, they just care about "Dude does it go fast?"

I don't understand why anyone would floor one of the fastest 0-60 cars on the planet like that.

Brake to floor, gas to floor drop brake

I think nothing of it. I get it a lot. Well, as I'm exiting I see the kids still checking it out. One is leaning down with his HAND ON THE CAR looking in, mind you, at this point my car is due for a wash it has that thin layer of dust that brushes away when touched. I attempt to walk past and get in my car. The kid looks at me with the most infuriating shit-eating grin and stares. I say, "Can I help you?" "Is this your car?!" "Yep." "It's really nice." At this point I'm getting annoyed and butthurt. I then proceed to shove my way past and look the kid in the eyes and say "Thank you, but don't FUCKING touch things that don't belong to you."
What is it with kids nowadays? I was always taught not to touch other people's cars!
If the kid was like me 17 and a gear-head that probably wouldn't have happened. But if you ask any douchebag dressed tool in my school they feel entitled to everything.

I've gotten more compliments in 2 weeks in my FRS than I did in 2 years driving an 08 STi.
