I kept pushing down and noting numbers and they started getting pretty screwy. I recalibrated my Procede throttle just to be sure, but found out it is definitely NOT linear. See my pic of what I call my "TrueScale" version of throttle mapping. Look closely at the throttle percentage numbers on top. They go from closer together, to farther apart, then closer again. It's really weird. But, the only way to map it logically, is to start with correct scaling. I checked the RPM scale as well, it was consistently about 100 rpms too high, so I lowered those as well. Here's a pic of my latest, "TrueScale" map. This might not hold true for everyone, so I recommend checking your throttle scaling against the OFT readout to be sure.

Lol did something similar inadvertently

Wow! Try this and tell me it isn't just a fluke. I took a 5 minute drive and tried to make it stutter, hard throttle, then let off fast. Then I tried the low-load in manual mode and 1st gear I went up to 5000 and let off, no stutter, and it's fast and loud as hell. Try this with my AVCS tune changes, it seemed to be just the right amount of boost.

Man you guys are making the wait for the procede unbearable. I plan to put the order in this weekend, and if I'm lucky I can get it installed before my trip to Pismo on the 29th. I also have a trip to LA labor day weekend and a Dyno appointment for next month, so I know I'll have it before those, at least.

In the meantime, I'm having way to much fun putting cars in my rear view mirror more quickly because I have the torque to do so at the low end now.

@fenton Any chance you could post the updated wait list? Might I also suggest a Google Docs file we can just pop in to check on?

Thanks!

There WAS a torque dip when i drove my AT with ESC and Procede. The torque dip is now gone. Only someone else with an AT would understand this, but this new map makes driving in "D" fun! Passing people on the freeway is soooo easy. I know it gets better mileage in manual mode, but who cares about mileage when they're having fun. Using boost below 3500 rpms makes the cost of the procede totally worth it, So what if the ESC is working all the time. It's spinning all the time anyway. The only time I'm not boosting is when I'm slowing down. Now Sport mode is a real hoot. I'll need to put my Michelin PSS's on the back if I'm going to use Sport mode much.

Any chance you take a video of the voltmeter? I'm curious how the hell you are keeping charge up. And I mean this in a crazy can't believe... I'm jelly mode.

I'm running the same map on AT and it's pretty awesome to drive. Actually I modded the bottom left corner of the map, just a handful of cells, to slightly more negative values just in case so eco-cruise in 6th gear doesn't use ESC.

I can say though: the voltmeter doesn't show any reduction at what I'm guessing is values below -50 or thereabouts in the procede map, I assume in that low load area the recharge can match the depletion. I'm not using any aux charger either.

Which cells because to me it should be a good quarter of the lower left area. Haven't tried it though...

Before/After shown below. It could be dialled back a bit more if there was a need for it. I'm really interested in Rob or any other expert in brushless motor tech to comment on whether a regular but very slow spin of the compressor is significantly reducing expected lifespan of the motor.

Crazy... @Robftss can you chime in? Because to me this is a significant change from our normal operating procedures.

Look at the image a couple posts above. You've got a range like 5 cells by 5 cells before it starts to drain. I got the aux charger robftss posted a link to. I didn't get it to recharge quicker so much as to heal abused batteries. @dtek is right about the volts not dropping. I'm getting better fuel economy too. Make sure if you run this map that you calibrate the throttle. If it's not calibrated you might not be getting full boost, or worse yet, might have trouble slowing down.

With the mapping are you getting more of an exponential curve or is it diagonal in nature in the movement of the blue square.
