I know the struggle lol. Ive had a set of wheels for the FRS for 4.5 years basically. Been holding off refinishing due to cost but also couldnt decide how to do them since I hate polished lips and even brushed didnt seem that much better. But I finally found a solution i think and am stoked to get them done as a present for the car being paid off.

2-piece welded, or 2-piece bolted?

And going to keep the finish a surprise for us? lol

2 piece bolted. Its been a bitch trying to seperate the faces from the barrel adding significantly to the cost since shops charge $100-150 to assemble/disassemble on top of powdercoat cost.

And yeah, the finish will be a surprise

Thanks, but don't plan to spend any money on PC gaming... need that money for car parts LOL. Though maybe I should pick up a cheap but decent laptop for data logging...

That's basically where I'm at. lol. I kind of want to sell it and buy an OFT, headers and maybe a TRD quick shifter.

The wheel bolts aren't torqued down heavily, just need the right torx driver size.

Got the bolts out fine (though the face is kinda wierd so it took a bit longer then normal). Its actually getting the faces off the barrels. The sealant is hella stuck on there. Need a real heat gun and a BFH I think

For some reason, I have a specific wheel in mind as to what you got. Not sure why I'm thinking it's it tho.
