@Robftss , have you put any consideration into doing a kickstarter campaign to raise enough capital to do a one time large unit order from the manufacturer?

- Rob does this as a side job. - He hand checks, works on, and tests each part to make sure it works Not sure if having 10 or 100 sets worth of parts would speed things up if he has the capability to do around 5 a month. It may help if there's a delay in parts from manufacturers, but it sounds like they can't really keep up with more than the 5 or so a month anyways. Also I admire Rob for not quitting his day job. I'd hate for him to get through these 100 or so and then not have any more demand. However, I'm hoping the profits are enough that it's worth his while for having come up with such a neat idea. |

For other owners out there, has anyone snagged the fuse power wire going into the voltage meter and ripped it out by accident? Did you solder it back on or order a new voltage meter?

If you feel comfortable soldering then do it, otherwise just contact Rob for a replacement.

That is ridiculously sexy. Is it set so the controller runs both in tandem? I'm assuming it'd have to be. |

I've contacted Rob as well for info but I want to get it up and running asap since it seems like a simple fix. I forgot how slow the car was without it @_@. Edit: Took it to my companies engineering lab and let them take a look. Turns out to have two problems. The solder broke from the post on the power switch when it was snagged. When I took it out of my car to re-solder it, the 3.5mm jack was stuck and when it came out broke the connector as well (and possible stripped some of the male side). We took apart the housing and saw that one of the connections was not engaging anymore so had to jerryrig it. Can't seem to power it on still so might replace the male 3.5mm as well. I'll probably buy a new one of these guys and replace it eventually or buy a new one from Rob.
