Most don't go broke on private jets and fancy cars, even a moron can take a wakeup call when they realize they blew half their money in a few years, it's the nickle and diming once everybody knows, it's the shady accountant and leeches coming out of the woodwork.

Basic division, set a humble budget/salary to pay yourself, a non-shady accountant and lawyer, learn to say no and keep living life like normal. I was just thinking about it, I'd probably take a month off work and come back for at least a little while, maybe finangle reduced hours...
Keeping a job (that you like of course) after winning the lotto is not a bad idea if you think about it. Keeps you from being bored out of your mind and spending recklessly just because you have nothing else better to do.

Im with you on getting bored, but still wouldnt want to work 40hrs a week. I would find a shop I like and ask if I can work the front desk and apprentice with the mechanic with use of shop when closed in exchange for investing in the business lol. Work like 20-30 hrs a week when I feel like it haha.

I'd find it hard to get bored. . . between all my hobbies and traveling, I wouldn't mind just quiet time also. #Netflixandchill

Ok, that's funny because it's quite possibly the most annoying video on the interweb.

Mostly to keep up appearances, much easier to explain a nice house when you're gone during business hours at least a few days a week instead of sleeping in until noon and banging about in the garage until midnight. Although agreed with above, I wouldn't want to work 40 hours a week, maybe 4 days a week at most.

I also forget my definition of a nice house would run me a million+ where I am and would be about $100k in Oklahoma.

I've always joked that I wouldn't quit my job, just come to work with a whole different attitude....and see how long it took for them to work me out, sort of payback for all those slackers HR made me keep around for months or years.

"Dude, don't care that your system is down, I'm only half way through my lunch bottle of wine.. Want some?"

"Bounce house in the parking lot for eveeeryboody!! Well, except Mr. Jones, he's a prick"

That sort of thing.
