Lol, I don't have my own hangar. The guy that I worked with to spray the car works at an airport. The hangar wasn't being used so we made use of it

Damn, that looks good. It looks better in some pictures than others. Does it look different with different lighting in real life, too?
This is making me think about going the plasti-dipped route. Did you dip the painted parts around the door jambs & trunk areas, too? If not, does it look weird? |

It took 4 gallons and its a full days work between prep (cleaning/taping/masking) and actual spray time. The key is taping everywhere you don't want over spray. It will get in every seem, crack, or crevice. Take your time in the prep portion and you'll be happier when it's done (and when you want to pull it off). Also, make sure you apply at least 3-4 good coats. Any less than that and it will be difficult to peel off later.
The color did fade in the first week after spraying but then stayed the same afterwards. Its pretty neutral in all sources of light. I didn't use the pearlizer or glossifier. I'm sure if you did it would look a little different in different light conditions. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2 |
