Forget this setup. It's too stupid to use 2 fingers. I have a way better setup. I just can't remember the layout settings right now because I'm at work. But this is what you do. Thank me later because I discovered this myself one day trying to learn clutch.

This is the layout I use

LT - BRAKE
RT - GAS
X - Change View
Y - Look Backwards
B - Hand Brake
A - Clutch
RB - Shift Down (as in from 2->1)
LB - Shift Up (from 1->2)

The beauty behind this system is it allows you to downshift while braking without having to use 2 fingers. It takes time to get used too, but this system allows you to always keep your finger on the brake without having to use 2 fingers for clutch and brake.

It will take you about an hour to get used to shifting using RB and LB. But its totally worth it once you make the switch. Easy as pie.

See my setup! You won't need extra fingers anymore!

I've been using the Forza3 config, X for upshift, and A for downshift. LB is clutch and I usually have my index on the clutch so I can healtoe. But I'm pretty sure I mucked up the palm of my left hand with the F3 setup. If I press on my left palm in a certain spot I get a shooting pain.

I used to try and use that setup but I was never happy with it. So one day I spent some time with the Forza control schemes until I found this one.

It's perfect. You can't beat my controller config. I converted both Dragonjet, Fiat, and Rocket.

I'm down to race with you guys also. Have you thought about trying an open B class FRS race one night to see what people can come up with?

I'm also thinking about starting a multiple make non-spec series for b class but also with power, weight and a few other restrictions. I used to run a decently successful FWD Touring cup and I was thinking about doing that again with RWD sports cars...

Any interest?

Did 4 laps round the ring last night and let me say you have converted me too. By the end of lap 1 I was used to it, by the end of lap 4 I'm very comfortable with it. Definitely the best set up I've tried so far.

bneale: I sent you my FR. I am not sure I will be able to join you when you race ( time difference, I'm from Italy ) but I guess it could be nice to compare lap times. Thank you & ciao.

I have a B500 set-up that has 6.4 handling and 6.7 accel and weighs 2295lbs that is pretty easy to drive hard. If you overdrive it slightly it has a little oversteer built in but if you way overdrive it'll push. I also have a similar set-up that rotates a little better but is also a little less stable on the edge.

LMK if you guys want to check it out, my GT is the same as my screen name here. If there are some pro-tuners out there I wouldn't mind some feedback as well.

The only member representing [f86c] is me. The club was down to 8 member when last I checked. I'm not sure but I believe I sent you a friend request.

The club is 10-members strong! that's definitely enough to get a club-race going.

I think this should be restructured so that anyone taking part in the club-race should actually be IN the f86c Forza Club!

So we need to know who's going to be there Thursday night. If you haven't sent a friend request to Bneale or Dragonjet, please do so. Also be sure to send me one too if I haven't added you.

We're racing Motegi full.

If you are going to be a few minutes late we can wait 15 minutes but you need to message Bneale or Dragonjet.

I talked to Dragonjet, I'm in for Thursday's race.

And @Allch Chcar, my GT is Victorious17.

Anyway, I don't know how I'll do, but I'll try to put some more time in so I can gain more experience with Forza and hopefully keep up with the rest of you.
