Yeah, in Vancouver most people drive above the speed limit, around 10 over. I don't drive highway much so I can't really say for sure how fast the highways are around my area.

In Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Langley, everyone goes at least 120km/h on a sunny day (speed limit is 100km/h).

Even then that's slow...it's all too common to see people whizzing by at 140-150+ in the fast lane..basically rolling the dice to not get charged with stunt driving..

Ya, that was why I said "normal" speed is 120. Still get the 140+ guys flash by. Half of them are OPP and you almost always see them at the next rest stop with coffee in hand.

I actually had to deal with this just last night.. My friend and I were off going to make a craigslist deal at a walmart that was a bit far away. Anyways while we were on the freeway this dude in a new pontiac G8 or something (big ass 4 door cruiser looking thing) started doing the speed up slow down shit and downshifting and what not making a real ruckus. I was just like dafuq? My friend being the dingus that he is just looks him dead in the eye and gives him a sarcastic thumbs up which only seems to infuriate pontibro. I told him he should never make any gestures or eye contact with idiots. Anyways this literally continues for about 5 miles until he finally just guns it and zips on by. Just when I thought it was over we get to the big freeway hill that goes out of town and I see hes slowing down again.. And he was in the lane I was wanting to be in so basically he forced me to go around him and get in front of him. After that he goes to pull up next to me and I just say EFF IT I am just getting livid at this point so I slammed into 4th and just punched it slowly pulling up this hill lol.. And waddya know his tanker pontiac couldnt even catch up! It was pretty amusing. I usually dont get goaded into crap like that but enough was enough..

Turns out, according to my friend who was with me he was showing off for a chick in the car. Which just seemed so pathetic.. The only thing he accomplished was looking like a complete tool bag with socket set

I think 3rd gear would have been more appropriate, 2nd might be too low if you will be accelerating out at >60mph,
4th is when you are taking turns at >80mph
