I would not do this.

This is true and I don't blame anyone for leaning more towards form than function, I just want people that are after function to have a better idea of what they're getting.

dont know whats better,
17x8 with michelin PSS, or 18x8 with PSS??
245 tires??
You could go either way since the RPF1 is a quality wheel and be just fine. Save a little money and go with 17s, or look a little cooler with 18s. We decided to look cool (and also be really sure we cleared our BBK).

Any good summer street tire (Dunlop ZII, PSS, RS3, etc) work well for both as long you have a good alignment and don't go super wide.

I want to bring them out to remove the tucked look. Getting new wheels is not an option so spacers with extend wheel studs are my only option. I have 20mm and 15mm spacers. Bad or good idea? To much? If so whats the max that's still safe on the track.
If you were to run spacers I'd go with 10mm for you. I'm not a huge fan of spacers but they are not the end of the world.

I plan to go 1.5" lower front + rear. Post above reminds me... what do you guys recommend as far as roll center correction?

I know you guys don't recommend staggered setups, but what about spacers in the rear with a square setup? Specifically, this style:

One method of roll center correction is super stiff springs. Just kidding.

The WL roll center kit is a good kit for the money. We did not run it on our BRZ but have run it on many other cars in the past.

As for spacers on the rear...ehh. I'd like to do some testing. Keep it mild and it's probably okay.

On a serious note, what's a good alignment spec for high speed stability? I'm talking about straight lines with little to no tramlining, minimal steering input correction, etc.
A little toe-in, not much camber. It would be boring.

Ok, winter tire peeps:

How aggressive of a spring+shock+alignment setup can you go during summer such that you don't hinder the ability to drive during winter with snow tires in decent snow?

My winter tires are nice and squishy, and it appears that overloading would be very easy.

Negative. I'll post them for sale since I dont need them. What kind of set up do you recommend for NA? I plan to boost the car later down the road, in a year or two.

Would you consider 255 on a 9" too wide? RCE Yellows on Konis is the specific set-up.

do you plan on actively tracking the car and being competitive?

i'd stick to the 215 tire on a 17X7 rim and call it a day

Yes, I plan to when I get the chance. Might have more money when I sell my current set up. Just need to raise the car a bit since it rubs on the ground on bumps.
