Gonna keep track of this thread. I wanted a s2000 before i settled in on the BRZ. If they were new or I could find one with low miles I would so trade.

I found quite a few of the 2006+ ones with very low miles that were demanding new BRZ prices if that is the way you want to go. I picked the S2000 because I wanted something cheaper than a used BRZ should I destroy it at a track weekend.

Maybe one day we will get you slinging wrenches. Your post reminds me I should post that video from the 2014 NASA SpecE30 East Championship race to show people what real amateur racing looks like. This was a drive from nearly dead last to third and a championship after the top 2 were DQed. Very impressive in a 45 minute scheduled race with 40 cars. I look forward to racing at the East Championships next year at VIR. This is why I race SpecE30

I want it so bad. I'd give up my car, my bike, my shithead dog, and maybe a slap and tickle too for that thing.

It's so clean.

There is certainly a weird medium with S2000s... I paid 20k for My04 with 22K on the ODO.

Also managed to steal an 01 AP1 with 100K on the ODO + glass top.

Now I can't even find a buyer for my AP1 that doesn't want to pay me less than the dealer -_- so it's getting difficult GETTING into a BRZ

S2K community has unfortunately taken a nasty hit recently :/

He definitely had to take more risks because he knew he was fast and was starting at the back, then you add to that the fact that it was a championship race. He started at the back due to getting DQed in a quali race for "opening his hood to turn on the fan". The nice part is we made it out of the race with no totaled race cars which can't always be said for a Road Atlanta weekend. I wish I was there, but it just wasn't in the cards for me this year as most of my racing funds have gone elsewhere.

I own at least 10 blipshift shirts. I almost bought the forced induction one last week.
