Does anyone in the Eastern NC area have the OEM Audio+ system installed? The stock sound system is pretty disappointing and the OEM Audio+ setup is one that I'm considering. I'd live to give it a listen before I drop any cash.

By far the weakest component in the BRZ/FR-S is the stock audio. BUT the heart (head-unit) and stock wiring/amplifier can be used in addition to a few upgrades (1 set of component speakers & amplifier +/- sub woofer) to please the ear and put a smile on your face! I got fed up with the stock sound after a year+ of ownership so I can say a few words describing here the route I took to do what or if you happen to show up at a Raleigh/Cary Cars&Coffee meet (@ Waverly Place) you can hear the world of difference with minimal input time and dollar wise (granted that's my perspective after researching options for a couple months online and in stores).

Thought of caution here too: modifying the stock audio system will erase that area covered under manufacturer's warranty so be sure to get what assistance that can be had done before you step on this escalator!

Plasti dipped my wheels yesterday. That stuff is a pita to use, I might end up just having them powder coated.

I've been on the forum for a long time, but just finally got my car! 2013 Hot Lava 6MT. I'll throw a picture or two up in the future, but you guys know what they look like. I'm usually around the Kernersville area.

So far, only mod is the Invidia N1 exhaust, but more will come if I can take some funding from my FJ.
