Wondering if it's a Telsa maintenance truck that left them. Yesterday there was one swapping tires on a Tesla parked nearby but I can't remember if it was that exact space or not. But I don't know why a Tesla tire truck would be carrying them... Another time there was a Tesla with a smashed window getting it replaced by another Tesla maintenance truck, and after that the shattered glass was left all over the ground for weeks...

I once move into an apartment with a burned out car in front of the building. That was reassuring. /s

The disappointing thing is this complex is actually quite nice and well taken care of, but a ton of residents are gross. They'll leave trash in front of the trash bin storage rooms instead of walking inside because they don't want to go near the actual trash.

A few weeks ago someone posted on the apartment website that another tenant had left a full garbage bag in some bushes beneath this person's window.

We have a bunch of small grass areas and the complex provides free dog poop bags and trash bins, and people still let their dogs poop literally right behind the posts with bags/bin and don't pick it up.

Humans are disgusting.

Speaking of neighbors....

Last week I discovered a couple wasp nests on the ceiling of the small walkway to my apartment front door. Had maintenance/pest control come through to get rid of them

Lo' and behold today I go walk Haru and when we return we find:

It seems like a mud dauber, which isn't dangerous, but it was buzzing around a lot and I'm more worried it gets inside my apartment when I'm coming/going and then stings Haru, because Haru loves hunting flying insects.

I fortunately do not know any but....I went to a Waffle House for lunch on Friday. There is an app for their jukebox, which I usually play songs while I'm there eating. Unfortunately someone had queued up 10 Taylor Swift songs.

Unfortunately for them the app has an option to skip the line, so I payed extra to play Meat Loaf and Jimmy Buffett instead.

Ended up destroying it myself this evening. Took a broom handle to it and then my largest flathead screwdriver to scrape it. These things are built like tanks, it's kinda nuts.

Apparently mud daubers really do just collect a bunch of dirt/moist dirt and turn it into a hard clay nest.

Anyway, hopefully that helps for now, but we'll see.

I don't know, I love jukeboxes. It goes back to a childhood memory thing I'm sure since almost every place we ate out as kids (and that wasn't often, maybe 4 times a year) there was a jukebox and we got to play a song.

They make sprays that keep them from coming back.

We do that all the time. I love those touch tunes juke boxes for that. I’ve seen people flip out over there songs getting skipped though.
