There there...
I feel consoled and my internet hurty feelies are mended.

In other news, 86 still fits a ton of stuff. 4 wheels w/ 245 tires. 3 245 tires (darn bucket seat, if it wasnt there it'd have been all 4), 2 axles, 3 wheel bearings, 1 knuckle, and some misc hardware.

I've fit 4 245 (mounted) 4 255(unmounted) plus jack and toolbox. It was snug. Full interior. But no spare, which let me stack two of the 245 in the trunk, and they had to have covers to slide in... Tires all seem wider these days so not sure I could do that again.

Yeah, not sure what to do about it. I punch between .262-1" on that punch. Maybe I can put a sweep on the bottom and see how that goes but that may cause it to lift the shield if the sweep is stiffer than the shield weighs. I had to hinge the top of the guard already. That punch doesn't have a way to strip the workpiece so sometimes it gets stuck to the punch and gets picked up during the cycle and stuck.

What a pain! I can picture it. That thing is lethal.

We can feed it from 3 directions. I think it is easiest just to put an adjustable extension at the bottom and just move the foot pedal to whatever side the workpiece is not protruding that covers to the bottom and use a sweep on the bottom in case you are feeding from that side. The sweep isn't going to stop anything but should pull enough energy out it.

I've fit them before, sans bucket. A solid mount set up for a 6' individual makes the back seat behind the driver rather slim.

It is what it is... S/O is mad she drove down there in rush hour to pick me up :/
Shop can store my wheels + tires for free, and it gives me this weekend to just do some of the work myself.

Still leaving wheel bearings + axle swap for them to deal with.
