Just for comparison I'm getting 32-35psi hot idle on street.
After a few laps on the track my idle was 20psi.
Went back to normal after it cooled down.
I have no oil cooler either.

Going to jump to a 10w-40 on recommendation from the TSP. If that doesn't do it 15w-50 and really be mindful of the oil temp before I really drive the car. Oil cooler is high on the list, but being front sump the set-ups become real expensive. Currently trying to put a kit together that I am absolutely sure I like. Still a necessary item. Will get one ASAP.

Edit:

So I may need to hop on this swap sooner than I thought. I have some rod knock on my factory stock engine. Would you recommend the vorshalg mounts or go to a different solution? I have an LS6 with a T56 Camaro trans. Don't have the fancy transmission you guys have.

Secret is that T56 = Magnum.

Magnum is just the aftermarket name. There are surely some other differences like tail section length and skip shift / CAGS, but they are pretty much the same box.

One supplied by Vorshlag is the XL which has a longer tail housing and shifter moved back. The mount also sits back further as well. I am not exactly sure how far back though.

Vorshlag Mounts work with the XL, CX Racing Mounts were designed with the Normal T56. Should work with minor modifications either way you go.

Definitely think something is wrong. Or I was spinning extremely bad (though no one said they really saw me spin or anything)

Playing with a friend making ~460whp in a 350z. He was almost pulling me...

Weird. Have you fabricated the new intake yet? Wonder how much that will help getting the intake to some cooler air, not to mention away from the fans as they turn on. I'm working on a CAI this weekend. Hopefully it will help with the intense heat soak and have harder pulls when sitting at idle for a long period of time.

This is a good point. I know GM/Chevrolet ECU pulls a lot of timing when air temps get high. I was seeing crazy high air temps before I made a CAI of sorts.

This is why I've had no sway bar for over two years now.
Still waiting for someone to have a good solution or product to buy.

From what I have seen. Pans like that have the fittings coming down straight out of the pan rail which happens to interfere with the steering rack. I am currently trying to figure mine out. I have cx racing pan (I know). It clears the sway bar, no lower support for the trans yet.. But no way to hook up to the fittings.
Perhaps dry sump is just the way to go..

Going to pay out the A** for the fittings though. The Hose is also $11 a foot.

Fragola Straight Banjo Hose End - Verocious Motorsports

Dry Sump would be an even bigger mess honestly. Also a huge investment. Unless you have the expendable budget, then it's totally worth it. You are just looking at $6-$7000 and still might have clearance issues.
