They're just jealous of how comfortably you fit in your Lotus.

Being 5'9" has its advantages sometimes. Now if I could only lose 2 5 lbs.

Put yourself in calories deficit. If you dont have physical disability, you could walk 30min daily.

Especially after proving to myself that I can, I've found happiness in accepting the fact that I just don't want it that much.

Finally booked my next trip to Japan for later this year. I didn't think I'd be able to but my parents said they'd love to watch Haru so we are doing it.

Already have, and intend to again.

Went to Max Orido's shop and met him:

And he insisted on a second photo (super nice guy, couldn't speak a lick of english but it wasn't a problem at all):

Blurry photo of me driving a rented 86 behind one of my Japanese 86 buddies, 5 of us met up at Daikoku Futo in Yokohama and then got ramen afterward:

Went with a friend to Mt/Lake Haruna (Akina from Initial D):

Ah, one day I will take a vacation in Japan...just gotta learn the language first. I know it isn't necessary, but I'd like to be able to conversate with people there. I suck at learning another language, so it's going to take me some years. Also sucks that I can't learn it via Romaji like I thought I would be able to. Kuso....lol

Like I think I've told you before, you really don't need to know any. Google Translate is more than sufficient for almost everything. I've been able to make friends especially that I still keep in touch with and who are already planning to meet me again.

Most restaurants in the cities have english menus or pictures so it's easy to order.

The only place I had any sort of problem was one random bus route in Sapporo in the suburbs-ish that for some reason had no English announcements, but I just used Google Maps GPS and it worked out fine.
