Thanks for the kind comments guys. It was a cool lil truck. Looking forward to a 86 in the future once I sell or part the Yota out and get my home straight from last years flooding. Enjoying reading and learning about the 86. Only detractor for me so far seems to be the spark plug replacement but I can deal with that.
Thanks again 22R |

New Owner
Hi all!
I just got my 2017 Toyota 86. My husband bought it for me because it is my first manual car and he wanted to get me a slow car for my first manual that was still a little sporty. It's great because it is one of the cars that looks really fast but isn't. I signed up here to look at different wheels and to learn more about cars. I do not know how to post a picture here but it is a brand new red one. |

Deciding between BRZ PP or 86 860
New to the forum, planning on either getting an 86 860 special edition in white or a BRZ with the Performance Package. Should be buying one within a month.

Hi all, I'm new here.
Hello, my name is Eric. In Few weeks I'll be the first to own the new 860 special edition within Missouri/Illinois. Cars haven't even touched US soil. Estimated arrival of the boat is 5-8-17. I'm getting very excited to own one of these beautiful cars.

If you go 860 you better go and set up a purchase order now. They are going fast. I was first in Missouri/Illinois to actual pt money down already. My sales guy said they have had tons of calls but no one serious. Only made 860 of super Nova orange and 860 halo whites. And from what I've researched only 40% of each will be a manual. Another Newbie
Hi to all from Spuds here in central PA, USA. I've actually had my FRS for a while now and have been a longtime reader of the discussions here.
My car has been bone stock from new in '13 till recently and it still makes me grin like a maniac every time I start it. |

Hey I'm new here. Just recently got a 2013 FRS. Absolutely bone stock besides the side skirts and lip.

Hello from the upside down
I just picked up a '13 FR-S tonight in silver, w/ 6-speed. All smiles while driving home.
I basically plan to keep it stock, but may get a high-flow air filter. The Toyota dealer put new Firestone FR740 tires on it, which I think are Corolla S tires. I'd feel bad replacing them any time soon, but would eventually like to get some better tires. I also want to remove the FR-S badge from the trunk and find some cheap 86-inspired license plate frames. Oh, and an 86 keychain. I have to admit, I'm a bit rusty on stick shift. The clutch engagement point on this car is a bit higher than my previous manual car, so when I encountered a full stop on an incline, I sort of peeled out when I got going. I need to re-learn how to handle hills. |

Hi All, new here, haven't purchased an 86 yet but hope. Have driven both the automatic and the manual, amazing cars, the turn-in is astonishing and addictive. The manual is more engaging, obviously, but I enjoyed the automatic as well, it's not terrible. It could shift faster, wish it was a dual clutch but it rev matches and the paddles are awesome. I'll take mine in white, like this one I filmed at the dealership that I stare at everyday
