BTW got this done
Nice M3 and I like how the red-out taillights look on the black FR-S

No idea what it was since I don't keep track of oversized american sedans.

A few lights later I see that the guy is laughing at me, and I don't get it, till he decides to let loose. Gone. Disappeared down the road without even trying that hard.

Turns out it was a Chrysler 300 with one of the HEMIs in it. I just do not understand (a) why anyone would bother putting so much horsepower in something so aesthetically displeasing, and (b) why that guy would have bought one.

People are funny.
Makes life interesting I had a R35 GT-R and a SL63 AMG try to play with me yesterday, I don't think they have a clue what this car is.

I remember when I first got the car and my mom was driving it, a 458 and a California was following her around in traffic.

They probably did. And knew that their cars were faster. Makes them feel good.

Mr.Jay how's your SRT exhaust? did it quiet down, cuz damn this thing is loud around 2k-3k (even with the larger resonator). Try so hard to pass people without making much noise

Yeah noise level drop a lot after I believe around 800km of hard driving on it.

Its still loud and you attract a lot of attention like today I got a ticket for speeding but when I asked the officer how fast I was going he said he didn't see but hear me speeding. wtf? soo choked going to dispute

2k-3.5k is the loudest point for everyday driving. My exhaust tone has changed a bit from my tune and its crazy loud in the high end for me now

Never own a boxer before either but have always been told they are very noise engines.

The manual states not to take it over that break in rev limit unless its a emergency I think you can sweep a few red line pulls under that rug haha. I am a believer of a hard break in anyways I keep mine under the break in rev limit but drove very hard up to the limit all the time

Guys, I've made some changes to our #15 decal design in order for it to come out properly from the decal machine. Thoughts?

I usually wave or nod at guys in their patrol cars as i go by too lol.

Keep in mind they're people too, sometimes they get it wrong. Doesn't mean they're out to get you just because they made a mistake.
Well, just had a quick encounter with a VPD tonight coming home from a cruise. He spotted me at the intersection so he just parked there and waiting for my light to turn green. As soon as I passed the light I was pulled over.

Never sped, never made a noise, didnt even go 1km over 50km. I was fully aware of him from the beginning. Guess what. I thought they have nothing on me, but they wrote me a BS ticket for $81 saying I didn't have my headlamps on.

Definitely hiring a lawyer, its going to be lovely to see his hurt ego in in the court room when he get his ass handed to him. Hope he dosn't pull a no show, or else my money spent would be for nothing. Absolutely ridiculous!

I heard from Eric

just give you a update on your FR-S. Your FR-S is on-sea now and ETA of your vehicle is Nov 30, due to all FRS has to reflash its ECU before hand it to dealer I expect there will be couple days delay. I will give you another update next week.

@scioneric If they are doing this "reflash" already before they hand the keys over, does that mean the dealership service centres will be getting it soon for those who already got the earlier FR-S/BRZ?

Just got home from what was supposed to be a quiet drive to put on some gentle-ish kms (1014 and counting). Saw 5 different cops all over town, successfully avoided an accident, and a pedestrian spat on my car.
Honestly just happy to be home in one piece. Never been happy to get out of the car before tonight. Whew!
