Finally have a build thread of sorts going. Scroll to the bottom of the first post and then the following couple for a bit about the AVO now. I'll be adding more as I drive it more and get more of a feel for the car. Right now it's just one word, unbelievable.

That is intentional I think from AVO so that once its on the car and the exhaust is in place, you can tighten everything while you lever the over pipe as high as possible for extra clearance.

You can't get to half of the bolts clearance wise once the assembly is in place

When we installed our kit, I tightened everything and did not have any problems. We did some track testing and blow the inlet gasket. Talked with Paul and a buddy of mine and found a set of locking nut plates that should fit to help stop the nut from backing out. Ill post the part numbers on Thursday once they arrive and I can confirm they work.

We did a few mock fits and tightened everything down in stages, there was a few mm of tolerance, but in my case not enough for Perrin over pipe clearance under full load. Now with STI engine mounts, the over pipe barely moves.

Not really a complaint as much as an observation but, did any of you guys buy the blow off valve? I got it because I wanted that hissing when I shift (what can I say I care about stupid things like that). Anyway I don't even hear a peep out of it at any point, even if I redline and just let off completely. Is it just something that doesn't do much until I up the boost?
