Pro Tint in Kannapolis did mine, turned out nice, but they won't go past the legal limit.

I got 45% suntek CXP, including a clear film on the windshield. Not sure of the price, I got the race team discount

Gaston auto glass did mine really good quality work was 170 out the Door for 15% on all glass minus the windshield of course, I think they use llumar brand tint and they have a lifetime warranty against defects

Went to union County drag way the other night and ran a 9.786 . Beat a Lincoln mark viii 3 times. Lol

Unichip,cai,muffler delete, c pulley. I had a better 60 foot than the vortech that ran 13s lol

Do you know someone that will pass you for inspection? I thought 35% was the legal limit or I've fallen behind the times...

I'm trying to find someone that knows how to do a good tint job and won't scratch or damage anything in the process.

Gaston auto glass does really good work have had several vehicles tinted there and never had a problem. Also 35% is the legal limit in NC so anything darker (lower percentage number means darker tint, the percentage reefers to how much light is allowed through the glass) and you have to find someone to pass it for you, and you also run the risk of getting a tint ticket if you get pulled over. Unless you have a medical condition and have a doctor write you a note for it then you can get a waiver for darker tint from the dmv

45% is lighter than 35%, it's the percent of visible light the tint will let thru. You can probably get away with 35% tint, since it's really about 38%, plus the OEM tint in the glass. Pro Tint likes to stay on the safe side. They took great care of my car, I left it with them for almost a week, while I was out of town, during which time they did the tint, and clear bra, keeping the car inside.

My brother is really pushing the nitrous thing on me(big mustang drag guy), to try and get in the 8's but I'd rather go turbo.

You're right. I don't know what I was thinking last night ha sorry about that. 35% is darker and 45% is lighter. Thanks for the info, I'll check them out.

MT, Injen intake, Borla UEL headers, Perrin header-back exhaust (think 3" though), and Visconti tune. showed 200.5 at the wheels on a dyno dynamics, so it should have been faster, except I didn't pull stuff out of the car, and i'm a fatty, so that is more weight than it needs to be pulling.
