The car goes to the Millers as soon as I get the new one but Toyota producing almost 2/3rds of the 86es as ATs and having a really bad allocation of Neptune Blues has delayed that. Chris and I talked it over and I'm going to keep running the current one until I can get the new one. But my coilovers are off for a rebuild soooo who knows if I'll even have a car for Fontana...
Also I am fixing the clutch/transmission before I sell it to them so this is kinda part of that

Tried a052 for the first time this weekend, played with pressures from 30-38 psi (hot) with no discernible difference other then a minor change in feel. Pyrometer seemed to prefer the high side. What pressure do y’all run?
245/40/17 Yokohama A052 on 17x9 STX prepped twin (-4F/-2.5R ish camber).

I run what Ray ran before me and he did a lot of testing. Basically somewhere around 30/30 and adjust up and down +/-2psi based on the surface or car feel like 32/30 or 30/28. Its all very slight changes and also change car to car with other suspension setups. The only real good answer is to start somewhere, find a TnT, and see what works best for you and your car.

I'm a bit lower. I've ran as low as 25/25 at low grip places and 27/27 on concrete.

...but I also tend to like vague tires, "overheated" tires, shocks on soft, etc.

We found that running pressures below ~28psi created a "spring rebound" effect with the AO52's. Setting the tires entering the corner but when the sidewall snaps back (versus the tire loosing grip), the results are not good. 29/28 to 33/33 was the ballpark to play in.

28 in the front 26-27 in the rear when hot is what I have run the past couple seasons with A052s.

For anyone on the fence, there are only four entries in STX for the Tour at FedEx next month. I'm sure everyone would be happy to see a fifth entry

Well, maybe not everyone if you win, but I'm in no danger of that

Is anyone else signed up for Vegas Tour?

We had a good battle last year, but Kate is now gone and Mudge moved to the East Coast :sadpanda:

I would be interested in flying out there if a co-drive presented itself (my actual name is Eric Niemi)? Maybe we can get Manfred to come out as well?

Same goes for the Fedex tour event.

Winter's been long as usual here in Wisconsin...

2015 Series.Blue BRZ
Tein Flex Z Suspension (In the process of buying KW V3s)
SPC Rear Lower Control Arms w/ STX bushings
JDL 4-2-1 Catless Header
Perrin Overpipe, Catted Frontpipe, and Catback
Injen Tuned Intake
Xero Limit EcuTek Tune
Delicious Tuning Blue Coil Packs
17x9 45mm offset
10mm Eiback Spacers
ARP Studs w/ Gorilla Lug Nuts
Whiteline 19mm Front Sway Bar (soft setting, probably moving to stiffer setting next week)

I'm keeping my eyes open for a Mann rear sway bar and maybe a larger front bar. What else do you recommend I keep an eye out for, other than seat time, because I need about all of that I can afford.

I'm aiming to be at the Bristol events this year, but that's likely the only national level events I'll make it to. I'm regretting not being more social at Nats last year, so maybe I'll meet some of you in Bristol.

While we’re on the talk of traveling to events. I’m interested in an L3 ProSolo event or two if anyone has an open seat for any of those later this year.
