Not a word but my best guess hunch is not much. They are not going to spend the money for the changes they did for one model year (it isn't the 50s where they could change the whole look every year) so I would say 2 more years for any significant change.

News!!

Originally my estimate was April and the sales guy just let me know that it's been moved up to March! Confirmed with the full status information attached to the email.

Still no VIN though but this is much better.

I really need to settle on my custom plate title :|

Also, FWIW, I noticed in the update that my allocation number changed to 201703 (from 201704), which coincides with what I expected a couple pages ago: allocation number refers to the month in the ETA. Could be that Subaru has an allocation of PP's, or CWP PP's, etc. per month.

Maybe someone will find that interesting.

Well, my opening day ordered PP car was pushed back from the 26th until Feb 2nd, but is finally on the move ("At Railhead"). It's almost sad how I want the car ASAP, but am taking it half a mile straight to storage.

As far as the 2018 goes, I doubt they will do anything other than more special edition packages until the full redesign likely in 2020. Only slight hope for more is supposedly they trademark registered BRZ tS in the US this last year, and they are making a push to bring more STI branded performance to the US, but I'm not holding out hope until I see it officially.

How is everyone getting all of this information from their dealers? My dealer just tells me that it's expected to arrive January 28 but nothing about the allocation number or the transit status

Probably have to ask them for it.
My dealer didn't give me any info, but I didn't care to track it every step of the way.

I just asked for the status and I basically got a copy of my order confirmation. It contains details like: VON, vehicle MSRP and sale price (but this doesn't include the actual final amount I agreed to), order date, sales type, sold order, current location (just a number right now; maybe a factory ID or something), and the best piece: Estimated Arrival.

Christmas came early. Received my car 9 days before the ETA and I couldn't be happier.
