Brian would have easily been in the 70.x range without the mistake in the 370Z run.

370Z doesn't seem to be having any problems putting power down on street tires...
After speaking with Jeff, he said that he is still trying to working on how to best put down with his VLSD. It is scary to think that once he is able to put down power more efficiently that we will be completely left in the dust.

I mean granted on a tighter course the FRS does have a better chance, but we have yet to test that yet.

So as you can see just over a .5 second slower.
Still too many variables going on there. 245's on 7's vs. 285's on 9's and 10's. Rivals vs. RS3.

A data point, and yes Brian can drive anything fast, but he's still most recently coming from a Z, it's still more in his recent catalog than a twin. Take it with a grain of salt.

To me the 350/370Z is one of the worst sounding cars ever made. Maybe just personal preference.

I love the noise of a VQ from the outside. Inside, it's not near as impressive.

Sorry to keep going off-topic, but there is a BSP 350Z that runs in our region that sounds AMAZING (owned by Michael Bright). It sounds WAY better in person, but hopefully this video does it justice:

I love SP, fast cars making awesome noises (save maybe some of the FSP entries). That thing sounds like a buzz saw in absolutely the best possible way.

Just had a chance to catch up to these videos and thanks for sharing. It's an interesting data point between the CS FRS and the CS 370Z for sure.

One thing the videos showed me is that Brian Peters is GOOD! I mean, he is right on top of every cone. I guess there's a good reason he is the reigning STR champ!

I see from your signature that you have a history in SP, so I'm sure you are used to all those cool SP sounds. I'll bet your old Soltice sounded pretty darn good in it's day! We also have a local with an ASP Saturn Sky that sounds very nice as well.

For those running spacers, any tips on where to find some 5mm or so spacers for our cars? I found some on eBay, but vendors only seem to advertise the mega (15, 20, 25mm) spacers.

What's next, posting some car-related porn and concluding "back to C-street"?

I wouldn't put even 5mm spacer w/o extended lugs studs.
I've had H&R 5mm kit on one of my Subies in the past.

Oh, good... I was worried that is what I did.

I agree, I am already not a fan of how short the wheel studs are... with the traklites I had on my car there wasn't much engagement, I'm not sure if those were not drilled to the same depth as other wheels or what, but I immediately concluded I wanted longer studs for the safety factor, and that is before considering any type of spacer.
