These aren't black housing, they are chrome housing and I believe they identical to the gt86 fog lamps.

correct
I think you might be able to get the cluster indicator to light up without the stalk. You would need a negative trigger relay setup and use that to ground pin 24 in the BCU (white wire).

I was able to get my rear fog indicator to light up without the front/rear fog stalk by jumping pin 2 (yellow wire) in the stalk connector to pin 4 (white wire). Rear fog would turn on with the front fog switch

HRTROB,

a little off topic, but can you order the stalk with both front & rear fog light spots on it?

unplugged that white socket

remove the black cover insulator around these wires, and pull the green wire, with the splicing wire connector, connect the red wire from the switch to the green wire.

Note: U need to squeesh in very hard to get the perfect contact on the wire, coz the green wire has a thick insulator.

Then plugged it back in the white socket, then screw in here the ground wire

enjoy with ur working foglights lol. hope this help guys.
Quick question: what's attached to the red & white wire in the first pic? I may do this soon and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Finally got my forrester foglights in as well as my custom amber button. Still waiting on my bezels...

Just need to finish my custom harness, modify my H9 bulbs, and install the button with the relay and I'll be all set!

Pare can use the relay harness you have, but you have to wire it differently. Pin 86 and 30 to fused +12v, 87 to fogs, 85 to a negative trigger.

You can also use a second relay if your current one is posiive trigger. Pins 85 and 30 to ground, pin 86 to your first relay's trigger, then 87 to the white wire
