I just read through your build vin. Looks like it is coming along nicely. I really like what you have done with the akrapovic tips on your exhaust

Well all my photos have been killed by photobucket for no reason. At some stage I will migrate to a new image hosting site

So I got my car paint corrected and a ceramic paint protection applied. Now it is parked in my garage under a car cover for the next 7 months because I'm currently in the middle East on another deployment with the Australian Air force.

I have allocated savings from every pay I get while I'm over here so that when I get back I will be able to put a turbo kit on. I have decided on the coyoda kit as I believe it is the best engineered kit on the market and the guys that built the kit are local to me.

I bought a set of rays gram lights 57cr in a custom colour AGP - a gloss metallic bronze.

They are 18x9.5+38

I think I want to use an advan ad08r but not sure on what size. I only want to lower it a little (maybe 1.5inches) and don't want massive stretch but a little is ok.

So finally back from my 7 month deployment in the Middle East and it’s time to put some parts on.

I just fitted;
MCA red coilovers
MCA rear traction mod
Velox rear control arms and toe links
Rays gramlights 57cr 18x9.5+38
Advan ad08r 255/35r18

I only lowered it approximately 20mm and I’m happy where it is at right now. To remain legal in Australia you have to keep the lowest part of your car higher than 100mm from the ground and I’m currently sitting at 110mm.

The afternoon sun changes the color quite a bit but they are mostly bronze and have gold sparkles in the sun

I ended up buying some new audio today. A local store had 20% off your first purchase as they only recently opened so I decided to make a good bang for buck stereo.

So what I purchased-
JL audio CS-650 splits for the front
JL audio HD600 4 channel amp
Kicker Comp RT10 subwoofer 400wrms which I saw a member on here using

I chose these items because I just want nice clean and crisp music with punchy base. I listen to mostly punk rock and also rap/hip hop so I think the 10 inch subs were a better choice than anything bigger.

I’m going to attempt to install this myself and took apart half my interior today. It doesn’t seem too hard but I haven’t installed car audio before.

Took my car out to the track for its first time on Sunday. Car felt great but I want to upgrade the brake pads and rotors and also get the oil cooler sorted before winter ends as it will not handle an Australian summer.
