Personally more a fan of bachi burger more than GR's burgr!
Agreed with the DJ comment. Packed as hell, no room to move. But I felt it was more bearable when I went with a group of friends. At least we could get drunk and be pissed off together.

Its always awesome reading the comments on the going to vegas threads. living here is way different then visiting. You can hit up Vegas86club.com and the members there can give you some local spots that help not blow a ton of money on the strip for the same thing you can get off the strip. Some members work at casino's and can get you hook ups on shows or other things. best tip i can give you is if you want to drink for cheap, tip the server at a bar that has game machines, throw in a 20$ and just tap the screen here and there, and get drinks for free.. it doesnt last all night, but for 40$ you can get so shitfaced you forget where you are at no problems.. My favorite bar on the strip is fusion bar in the Palazzo. also like the Very Nice Bar in the Venetian. Only place i really eat on the strip is Secret Pizza in the Cosmo, or the Fat burger by MGM, mainly people watch there.. otherwise, the buffet at Caesars is amazing, but like was stated earlier, huge lines, Gordon Ramsey steak is amazing, but can be expensive, i dropped 400$ for dinner for 2 there to do the whole Hells Kitchen menu. Nine in the Palms is awesome also and much cheaper, so is Hugo's cellar and On top of the world.. all amazing places for food. And going to exotics to do some laps in a dream car is also awesome.

Hey guys, how hot is it there in June? We were supposed to go out east this June but that is cancelled and the wife now wants to head there. I am reluctant as I don't do hot!

If you don't do hot, it's still not terrible unless you're planning on walking up and down the strip. Blocks are pretty long and you can take detours through various hotels, but waiting at traffic lights can be brutal. If you just want to hangout in Downtown, everything's much closer together and cheaper. Food is far better on the strip though.

Been there many times but always was the dead of winter. She usually holes up in a Casino and doesn't know there is an outside but I like to roam around the city (sometimes ending up where I probably should NOT be).

It's usually in the mid to upper 90's f. If you try to stay inside and take lots of water breaks it isn't so bad. I usually make sure to bring shorts/hat/sunglasses/sunscreen and a spray bottle if I plan to be outside during the day.

quick story, years ago in my black 90' civic, shelled out with no a/c and a hole in the firewall, a thermometer blew up at 112f while I was in it! A spray bottle and a sponge saved my life.

Shit!
Note to self: Do not drive any black (or any other colour for that matter) 90 Civics while there.

It was 98 couple weeks ago, now its mid 70's and partly cloudy. June is better then July and August for sure. The strip during the summer has more "eye candy" though

if/when you come here, please stop by, we would love to meet the infamous @Tcoat lol

Will stop by for sure since I don't gamble I have to kill time somehow. Will likely be the middle of the week sometime (or what ever is cheapest) but maybe we can gather some of the locals for a Tcoat Live in Vegas One Night Only meet.
