Do you have a life?

LMAO just kidding dude. But you have owned this thread since you joined here. I don't spot as many twins in a WEEK as you seem to spot in a day.

Respect for the dedication!

It's funny because I drive a lot too (I've put 80k on my car in just over 2 years), and drive a lot of the same areas as you do (Caledon, Bolton, Brampton, Mississauga) and I still don't see as many as you do.

That being said, my optimism to report every single twin I see has decreased drastically. When I first got the car, I used to remember every single one I saw, like you, but I would say a solid 75-80% of the "spotted" posts I put up don't get a reply, so I started to not even bother anymore unless the car has mods or I get a wave back.

Yeah! What gives?

They should come with an instructional booklet when bought new. "WAVE AT YOUR FELLOW TWINS!!!"

On my speed 3 we have license plate frames (TorontoMazda3) and we also have this thread. It's easier for us because once we spot the plate frame we automatically know its one of us from the forum. Haven't seen many twins around since i got mine. I always see a blue brz going south on brimley every morning though but i'm in my speed 3 during the weekdays.

Same when I was with the BMW crowd.

I was a founding member of BMWTrueNorth (I was one of the first 10 members of the group, which now has over 1000 members on the Facebook group alone) and we designed die-cut stickers to put on our cars, and had them produced. I remember the first meet where we handed them out, and everyone was sitting around applying them to their cars.

From then on it was so much easier to spot who was an enthusiast and who was just another average BMW driver.

At least the twins stand out; 80% of E90 BMW's were driven by older folks who leased them and probably didn't give 2 shits about the enthusiast community, which led to many confused stares when I would wave or give the thumbs up. There's also thousands of E9X BMW's on the road compared to the relatively unique and "niche" FT86 cars.

I think it's a great idea.

BRZWORLD has decals, but a lot of members on here aren't on BRZWORLD and vice versa, plus they don't really have a dedicated message board forum like we do.

Now the problem would be...what do we put on the stickers? FT86Club Canada? FT86Club Toronto? FT86Club GTA?
