That sucks. I wonder how SoA distributes the ordered vehicles. There seems to be no logic to it.

There's logic to it:

1. Take all pre-orders from large areas with lots of people, and ship first.

2. Wait for those orders to fill and watch the normal stock sell out immediately in those markets.

3. Wait for Stan who's always too quite to speak up, to finally say "What about the smaller cities in the West?"

4. Watch as all the other people involved get that light bulb on moment.

5. Watch the leader of the pack tell his cronies "I know, we just keep them in the dark, that way they will still hold out hope of getting a car at some point; and hope they don't cancel.

I could keep going. In a depressed state at the moment.

It's like I want to keep bugging my dealer and SOA about it, but I know it won't make it happen any faster and it'll annoy the crap out of them and won't endear me towards them at all.

My dealer just told me I'm still wait listed since I ordered GBS which is produced in fewer batches being a rarer color. The dealer owner called SOA to get the scoop. Nothing wrong with the order, just taking longer due to availability. I ordered April 16th so that didn't help matters.

lol at least you got a response back, I sent one in a few weeks ago and got no response. But getting a reply like that would probably piss me off more than getting nothing

Oh yeah....her. She was the first one I got B.S. from. Apparently only 2 people work in SoA's Customer/Dealer Services Department.

How is everyone getting info on their vehicle from SOA? I tried emailing my salesman, but all he tells me is my vehicle eta is the 28th...although it's not in-transit to them yet....which has me a little worried. To his credit, the other BRZ's did come on time. Knowing my luck...mines going to come late and I won't be able to close the deal till three weeks later cuz I'll be on vacation

Well, I reserved one that was already coming in. Had a von/vin already. I could've bought a wrb or swp limited which came in before mines, but I really wanted the ssm limited. Oh well....one more week of anticipation and waiting to see if it comes in on time

Btw, my cousin ordered a FRS over a month ago and they told him it should come in within a month. Now they're telling him that it hasn't even been built yet.....
