OK, so yesterday I had a battle with a guy that refused to wear his safety equipment and felt that since he was a "sovereign citizen" we had no right to fire him for it.
I had never heard of this before so after he delivered a long, incomprehensible speech and I called the police to remove him from the property (at which time he delivered an even longer speech) I watched some videos on the subject.

OH MY GOD!!!! These people exist all over and I am pretty sure their only purpose is to make the flat earthers look good in comparison. The attempt to use old laws that have been horribly distorted (but officer I was traveling not driving") is bad enough for Americans but this dude is in Canada so that makes it even worse.
I think next year at tax time I am going to evoke my rights under the Magna Carta and refuse to pay taxes since it restricts feudal payments to the Crown.

Did you tell him that since he is a "sovereign citizen" he has no protection under the law and you can do whatever you damn well please to him? It's a two way street...

Not at the time because I had no idea what he was babbling about. I didn't know that such a thought process existed. It does make many of the "I got a ticket for no plate/loud exhaust/tinted windows/speeding/etc and they have no right to do that to me" threads make more sense to me now.

Depends on if it shifts gears or comes to a grinding halt. Should be fine until anybody that said they have no issue get's called an apologist delusional fanboy and then it may heat up a bit.
