you may not have gotten the dealership experience you wanted, but not selling at the price you want (especially when there is no markup over msrp), isn't trying to screw you. just saying.

Hunter Subaru of Hendersonville, NC... listed MSRP on their web page, went there yesterday and they wanted $1500. over MSRP for a BRZ Ltd. I walked away instantly. Found a nearby dealer that sold me a new car in-transit to him for $300. under MSRP.

I no longer see the sales manager working there so you may be lucky. If you was dealing with him, I'm sure you would be asas I was.

The sales manager I worked with was a woman and she was actually quite easy to deal with. I had a pretty good experience overall except the finance guy acted like the car was going to fall apart if I did not get all the add-on warranty bs.

You totally lucked out on that one, it was kind of funny because my experience was the opposite of yours, the sales manager was an asshole who is the epitome of dealing with salesman but the finance guy I just got in and out. lol

Don't get me wrong, a loaded BRZ for MSRP + $3000 Lo-Jack is a ripoff... but the price is clearly marked. This thread is for shady markups. I doubt something listed in the window sticker is "shady". -alex |

If I'm not mistaken, Puente Hills is also the dealership that burned our members on a group buy when the BRZ was first released...they're douchebags...

Colonial Subaru, Feasterville, Pennsylvania
^ +1 on that they are complete con-artists, all the reviews on there websites are made from there own employees. Also there technicians suck, one of them stripped the oil drain bolt from my friends impreza. Also they say to you "all oil changes covered" and then it turns out they will only cover the first oil change same with inspection, only the inspection from PA state is covered but not emissions testing. They honestly are the fakest con-artist dealer in the area, best to stay away from them, not only that they are constantly marking up the BR-Z because they only have 3 or 4 of them.

Casey VW & Subaru
Casey VW & Subaru
783 J Clyde Morris Blvd Newport News, VA 23606 This dealership is a bunch of crooks. I am in the process of finding a Subaru BRZ. I contracted several dealerships in the MD and VA area. The car I was researching has an MSPRP of around $29,000. I had been received quotes from $26,000 to $28,000 from dealerships in the MD and VA Area. I received a quote from Casey Subaru for $35,802. I inquired why they how the price of a $29,000 vehicle get up to $36,000. I was informed by Kait Morrow "This is our addendum price which is what we list the car as simply because of low supply and high demand." This dealership is pricing the vehicle $7000 above MSPRP and almost $10,000 above their competition. I could understand paying full sticker for the vehicle when it was first released. However, a year later with many sitting on lots charging MSPRP, let alone $7000 above, is bad business practice. |
