I have two autoart 1:18 models of my old RX-8... One for home, one for work... Granted it was a shipping mishap and the vendor said I could keep both for the cost of one, but still.. lol

I did trade in the 8 on the BRZ tho

I'll own up to being a MGS fanboy with pride! Have you seen that figure though? It's so awesome! It comes with a cardboard box!

Unless the 2dness of the picture throws the scene off, if you can manage it space-wise I'd suggest moving your FR and FL channels farther apart. Ideally the setup would be a triangle, with the distance between the speakers the same distance from the listener. This will help your front stage a good bit, and also gives better separation and less muddiness from the center.

Hrmmm... I really need to get me a new set of tower speakers and get the rear channels set up again. Been running the same trusty Onkyo HTIB for over a decade now, back when they didn't come with complete shit form>function speakers.

edit: I actually just searched to see if this rule was still valid, and apparently there are a few speaker manufacturers out there that recommend a 150% seating distance, so I may be wrong

Gonna mount them on the wall eventually, probably another 6-8" out from where they are now. Will give better sound area and free up most of the top shelf for incoming PS4 and XBO. I like the all-in-one box set Yamaha that I've got. It's not as nice as my uncle's Denon receiver and Klipsch speakers, but mine was also only about $500 all-inclusive about 7 or 8 years ago. Might look a little distorted from the 10mm lens, but it's definitely a small "living room." Just bought a condo last october and the "actual" living room isn't really setup well for an entertainment system with a big L couch. This is officially the "dining room."

PS4 for me and eventually will pick up the One. I buy them all. Have my Wii U collecting dust just waiting for some good games.

Be careful with that. I can't tell from the picture, but if they have rear ports like mine do you'll be blocking the port hole, and then you'll end up sad with bad sound.

Speaking of the Wii U, I really didn't plan on getting one, but my wife demo'd the "Nintendo Experience" display they had at Best Buy, which is the first Wii U demo I've actually gotten to try. Now she wants one. Oh well, at least I'll have an excuse to pick up Monster Hunter and Bayonetta 2 now.. And Pikmin 3 probably too..

Hmm... Used to be the role of good game designers to do that.

The thought of MS randomly watching me through the system and dutifully reporting back on my habits every 24h means it will be no deal for me.

I had a 360 and PS3 both at one time, but that was pretty much just for the 360 exclusives (Forza 2 to tide me over until GT5 launched, and Mass Effect 1), but it's been gone for 3 years and I still pick up the PS3 every other day.

All sealed on the back. Was planning on getting nice looking L brackets and shelving piece. Just not motivated to spend the extra money right now. It does suffer a little from lack of space definition, but sound quality is pretty good as is.

Well for example, I probably would have never gone through CoD2 and CoD4 on Veteran if not for achievements. Just a nice little extra incentive. I love being able to track what I've done in games too.

I feel like the people that play Xbox more, are just more social people. Which is why they're not bashing PS4 or anything but going, "Hey guys, really, we like our console, and we're going to enjoy playing it. Why are you attacking us? We get that you're buying a PS4, and we're cool with that."

Xbox has a very large US gaming community while Sony has a massive overseas (japan) community. I think that's about to change though and a lot will ride on Sony's online play this round.

Damn, look at that Pole % now. Could have sworn just yesterday Xbox One was at 67 votes, so it grew 1 vote. And PS4 was at like 137 votes and now it's at 143.
