Easier to do now that we are down to two full time persons in the house.

That is also why when I rebuilt the table (it was originally one I built 25 years ago to match a different house) I covered the inlaid tile with the epoxy they use for bar tops. First time I used it but it was relatively easy and came out nice. Top of table is nearly perfectly flat and just wipes clean.

OMG my parents have the same salt and pepper holder. Well, theirs is a moose, but still.

The stove is wifi enabled although I turned it off (I just don't need to know someone is preheating the oven).

The dishwasher was white, but was only about 4 years old. I bought the parts for the door to convert it from an online parts house for about 1/4 the price of a new dishwasher.

Giraffes are sort of a running joke on our family so they are all over the house. We had one wooden one on a place I walked by frequently and my kids noticed that when I walked by it I scratched its nose. After that I got plenty of them, we have them scattered everywhere.

Well it was in pretty sad shape before we had this done. It was white, 20 years old and had 3 boys and several large dogs raised in the space. It was definitely time.

Of course I'm just pulling your leg. You've created a beautiful, warm, welcoming space. All of your parties are going to end up centered on that island but that table is stunning.

The room i stayed in was a bit micky mouse, but other than that, you have a very cute house.
