OK, school was out last Friday.

Ma-ma & Pa-pa's summer camp starts tomorrow.

We shall start the two older granddaughters with a 3 day basketball camp.

(oh, I hope there are some pretty mothers to chat with at the drop off and pick up spots …)

That would be nice. I've never had a/c in a home. My next home will have it.

Like the old saying:

"once you have had central air, you can't go back"

My parents had it in a house we lived in when I was still pretty young. As I understood it, the very old person who owned the townhome before us needed to add A/C to the central heat system because he couldn’t handle the warm weather days. So we lucked out.

It was very nice being able to leave for the day on a hot one or even just a swim in the pool, walk back inside, and just about every room was nice and cool.

In Birmingham Michigan for a couple of days. Didn’t know there were places this nice so close to Detroit. Everybody seems to be jogging with two dogs though so I feel very unfit.

Yeah there’s a screen if I open it.

It's not a question of me having a problem with it.

Just my apartment manager is very strict about things and anything that might even make a small scuff anywhere or other kinds of small damage.

Sure she’s annoying. But I’m also paying about a third of what my apartment is worth here in San Jose so I try not to complain too much.
