It can totally kill a forum. Using the old evo.net forum was painful. Took about 2 minutes just to get into each section and you never knew when something would just override everything and you had to sit and wait until it finished.

Never any sales. Can't buy anything off of the rack.

Gotta go to my girlfriend's ballet thing tonight. Great way to eat up a Friday night!

Not all bad, get to score some brownie points. Plus, I wouldn't likely be doing anything fun anyways, so whatevers.

I probably won't be doing mine until 1 May. Hopefully I don't run into any bad weather on the way to Nashville the next day. Will likely be a last minute decision, upon checking the weather along the route.

With the new rims coming next week I'm still trying to figure out what summer tires to buy. If I buy something overkill like Advan AD-08R or A052 they probably won't work until the weather hits double digits consistently. Then there are the filth city potholes which means you can't really run low pressure.

Back to buying commuter tires I guess...

I'm on RE71Rs still, so that's why I'm a bit hesitant. My next tire is certainly not going to be an ultra performance tire.

How long your RE71R lasted as a daily? Cuz in Autox, these thing barely last a season, so for daily, I'm worry it won't last too long.

This might sound odd but the higher performance tires might actually last longer as daily because you are not building enough heat on them to begin with and they aren't working optimally most of the time.

Today I was at Crappy Tire and saw the sign for the new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and it's actually rated for 70,000km (500 treadwear) which is BS cuz I went thru two sets of the first version, and they felt real tired by 25,000km. I managed to squeeze out at least 35,000km with a set of Dunlop SP Sport 01 (220 treadwear).

What do you mean by "first version"? I have about 20K K on mine and they are still like new.

Non-plus version and this was almost purely city / non-hwy driving.

Is your car 300k yet?
