Sunday afternoons work for me. Always account for the extra time installing something!

[QUOTE=customfab87;2274854]Hi everyone,

Just curious if you guys and gals are interested in a DIY day. I used to help out at these kinds of events all the time when I had my S2000, where we would all work together at someone's house on small projects. These projects can include anything from installing a strut brace to putting in a reverse camera.

Since I'm pretty experienced in mechanical and electrical work, I was interested in organizing such an event, provided that someone with a long driveway that can fit about 4-6 cars can volunteer the location. I have just about any tool under the sun, so if you've been hesitant about crimping wires together and have been waiting for that soldering iron, please reply below!

Thanks.

Dude I would love to go. I have a 3" Perrin Big MAF CAI that need to be installed and my OFT is on the way would be honored for some help

I'd definitely be in for this as well. I'd be available to help out as needed or even just provide some beers for the handymen. I have a long standing problem with my reverse lockout:

Anyone have ideas on how to remove the broken bits inside the hole? I was thinking a strong magnet may help ease it out but I'm not positive it will be that easy...
At this point I'm thinking someone more experienced will need to get in there and drill the sucker out.

Edit: post #69. Think I'm just gonna lurk until the end of time now

I'm not too knowledgeable but would be down to attend, learn some things and make some car friends, this is an awesome idea.
