Scion iA Spyed. Proof that Toyota Has Given Up on Scion

I saw this and...well, I have no words. Well, other than "Blah." And "Can't believe Scion is going to bring this boring meh-box to showrooms." Ok, so I have some words. Scion used to be avant-guard, head turning (for either good or bad reasons), and try to design in a way that would spark conversation. This carries none of that legacy. What's your verdict?

I am just disappointed. That frown on the front fascia is well-deserved.

Was a huge fan of the Pontiac Sunfire and that has almost as much style and class.

You just overloaded my sarcasm detector, Tcoat.

Now I'm going to be confused all over the internet until I get a new one.

The sad part is that they will park them beside the FRS and say "now if the 2 door is not practical we have this little baby right here for you"

2014 Civics look better than that and I think new Civics are hideous. To be honest I never thought Scions were that aesthetically pleasing to begin with. There is no Scion, past, present, or future, that I would buy. The only exception being the FR-S, which is a rebadged Toyota for the US.

It's a rebadged mazda 2 pretty much.
It's a low cost car.
They can't make it look too good or it will look better than cars above it.

My point exactly. This should not have been a Scion, they should have made this a Toyota, for all the excitement it brings.
