Stopped using any other injectors since 2010. I've probably installed and tuned over 30 sets of ID injectors in all sizes and they are just a dream to work with. Latency is spot on and they respond very well to changes in tune. I can easily run 1000cc ID injectors on 1.6 honda motors and they would idle perfectly. Highly recommend u try them if u haven't already.

I'm pretty sure ID injectors are the same price for anything 1000cc or under, which only makes sense to grab 1000cc especially if there are no issues with tuning them.
But it was a tuner preference so thats the reason for my purchase. |

All ID's and FIC are the same Bosch injectors. The 1000's are just Bosch 50lbs injector that are modified at Bosch for their motorsports program(they come EV1, E14, 1000cc , 1150cc) Then resold to you as the almighty ID's and FIC blah blah blahs. The 2000's are Natural Gas injectors from a Euro Spec VW Scirroco. Nothing special.
I have some Bosch 1000's direct from them(before they hit ID and FIC for rebranding), I can put them all together and you cannot distinguish which is which unless I put them in a box with purple hats, or blue hats and a sticker. None the less on topic, these Bosch injectors are the best to deal with. I use 1000's on my BMW & the shop GTR. The shop race car uses 2000's. Love them to death.

I don't debate that they all come from the same place, or try to explain any differences in process that make one brand better than the other.
All I know is I've tuned dw's, fic's and id's, and the id's are by far the easiest to dial in. Just what I've found through using them. Take it for what it is. |
