Keep us posted on the claims process with them, as I always buy their policy, and am curious on how they are to deal with when there's an incident.

I should be having an indepth conversation with the insurance company today, but yes I should be receiving $30,850 minus the 15% deductible (really wish I'd spent the extra $40 for the 10% deductible! argh).

And then it's car shopping time again
Congrats.

Funny at VIR I was talking to Chris about the deductables, in the past I chose 15% but after seeing how little the difference was I started taking 10%.

Due to the amount of damage, you better just have them total it. I would buy the car back if they let it go for cheap...some components might be salvageable (turbo, air box, exaust, rims (for snow tires), and the like).

But yea, she is dead.

Oh somebody could def jump on this. As far as the power train goes, only the muffler section if the exhaust suffered any damage. Rest is perfect. And the supercharger is only one month old!!!

Yea def ask the insurance person to give you a quote, usually they just subtract it from the cash the give you if you choose that option. That way you have a winter beater and a race car.

Also, there is always a market for OEM parts. if there is zero damage, you can always sell it on ebay or craigslist.

You can swap all performance parts over and put a plow on it!

I voted no but after seeing posts about fire damage I say yes to it being a write off.

I would have to agree with the majority; totaled On the plus side your not injured and you maybe able to purchase it back salvaged and use some of the internal parts for your new one
