Sure. That would be nice. Then the customer is not tied into a mail order tuner that may not be local, can tune himself, or let his local dyno guy have a go without having the tuner version.

I have brzedit pro. Chances of me buying tuner version of ecutek are slim. But being able to support customers that have it would be good for them and make the product. More desirable and useful.

It would be nice. No one local uses Ecutek so if I want a local tuner to do a dyno tune once my setup is final its going to cost lots of $$$ since they'll probably push some of the costs onto me.

I want user tuning so that I'm not locked into paying an ecutek vendor every time I have a problem. It's just the brzedit model, give us the tools to edit our own maps, or pay anyone I choose to do so.

I love ecutek's features. If it didn't try to lock me in and gave me control in the absence of any specific vendor, id pay a premium for it.

Just seeing this now. Yeah you right 100% doesn't work now. I was messing with it yesterday and it's just useless. My next tune update will have a fix for this, if your interested in testing it out (if you have a tune from me already) please email me

@Visconti,
Loving the forum. If I may ask a question. I just bought a Greddy turbo kit and hope to install it sometime next month. Iwould like to put in 1000cc port injectors and a new fuel pump from Injector Dynamics. Do you already have a tune for E85 with this setup?

-Greddy Turbo Kit
-1000cc DJ injectors
-DJ fuel pump
-TRD exhaust

Thanks!

Yeah but think you'd be better off with just 500cc injectors

We've done several of these kits so far (all outside the USA)

Any word on a knock alarm? Have they expressed any interest in implementing something like that?

That would be extraordinarily useful. Isn't this already available through EcuTEK on the GT-R platform?

I was under the impression that ecutek would send out another update to fix that. Any news on when they would roll out a new update to fix this. I currently have a tune from fa20club.

@Visconti,

Awesome, so if I installed the Greddy turbo and added 500cc injectors with a fuel pump from Injectors Dynamics and switch over to E85 what type of performance are we looking at? Can we purchase any of these maps and the EcuTek license from you if we have the exact same setup? Or would it be better for me to go to a shop closer to my area like Fullblown in MN and get the setup tuned?

Thanks!

Idle RPM based on AC settings. If I have my AC set to 3 with recirculating on the Idle RPM is too low for texas heat. Bump it up 200rpm based on those variables? Then return to stock when those variables aren't met?

Is there anything to control in regards to fan speed, when they come on, overriding the stock settings? I know on my mustang the tuners had full control and were able to adjust it for better performance.

We do a bunch of etunes, but if you have a good tuner in your area I would strongly consider using them - in person tune in a controlled environment has it perks.

If you have any parts questions feel free to email sales@vtune.us then Rich or I can point you in the right direction

John

We have idle settings, but they are not labeled with AC ON/OFF.. We could try a few different things to see if we can identity which is which.

Fan Speed, Yes, we can adjust that

On a side note have you been in touch with Rich recently?
